BvLogic Academy App

Attendance, classes, fees and payslips — on your phone

1 Scan this with your phone

https://codexla.com/app

Or just type that address into your phone's browser.

Open the app on this device

2 Add it to your home screen

This installs like a normal app — its own icon, full screen, no browser bars. Android users can also get it from Google Play once it is published; on iPhone, this page is the way to install it, and it is the same app either way.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the address above in Chrome.
  2. Sign in with your own ERP email and password.
  3. Tap the menu (top right).
  4. Tap Install app — or Add to Home screen.
  5. Confirm. The BvLogic icon appears with your other apps.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Do these in this order. Adding the app to your home screen first saves you signing in twice.

  1. Open the address above in Safari — this does not work in Chrome on iPhone.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Close Safari and open the new BvLogic icon on your home screen.
  5. Sign in there with your own email and password.
Why the order matters on iPhone. The home-screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari. Sign in inside Safari first and the app still opens signed out, so you end up doing it twice. Notifications also only arrive in the home-screen app, never in Safari, and they need iOS 16.4 or newer.
If you were given a printed QR card: open your normal Camera app and point it at the code. It opens Safari, signs you in and asks you to choose a password. Remember that password — you need it once, to sign in inside the home-screen app. You can also scan from the sign-in screen itself using Sign in with a QR code.

3 Allow camera and location

The app will ask for two permissions the first time you use attendance. Both are needed:

PermissionWhy
CameraTo scan the class QR code
LocationTo confirm you are actually at the academy when marking attendance
Attendance can only be marked while you are on campus. If you refuse location, or your phone cannot get a good fix, the app will say so and attendance will not be recorded. Standing near a window or stepping outside briefly usually fixes a poor signal.

4 What you can do in it

If you are a…You get
Student Scan attendance · your own QR · progress · class schedule and join links · fees · leave · announcements
Teacher Show the class QR · scan students · clock in and out · your classes · student feedback
Office staff Clock in and out · monthly hours · notifications
Management Cash today and this month, expenses, outstanding fees, new students, who is clocked in

ProblemFix
No “Install app” optionUse Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone. Other browsers do not offer it.
“QR expired”The code changes every few seconds — scan the one on screen now, not a photo of it.
“You are about … from campus”You are outside the allowed radius. Attendance must be marked at the academy.
Location is “too rough”Move near a window or step outside, wait a moment, then try again.
